Held again, as the name suggests, at the relaxed and fabulous setting that is the Wistow Café Bistro, guests were greeted by a WoW customary “trademark” gift, which on this occasion was a pretty, potted and hand-wrapped primrose. After some getting-to-know-you girly chats, guests enjoyed a delicious two-course hot buffet served by friendly Wistow Café Bistro staff.
The theme for the evening was captured by the playing of Natalie Grant’s song “Burn Bright (You were made to shine)”, reflecting the WoW Team’s desire that all women come to know their worth in the world by the grace of Christ Jesus. This theme was wonderfully portrayed and expanded upon in the message that the exceptional guest speaker for the event, Sarah Webster, delivered.
Sarah, who along with her husband James is a lead Elder from All Nations Church Leicester, conveyed a clear and Spirit-led message; which captured her belief that God is currently doing something very unique and special with his women and her desire to lead women into more of God’s plans for them.
The WoW team would like to thank Sarah Webster and Liz Carvell for their prayer, encouragement and partnering with them so beautifully in hosting this special event.
The next WoW Event will be held on Wednesday the 10th of June 2015 and the team are excited to welcome back the lovely Rosemary Conley as guest speaker.
